Looking for the best things to do in Atlanta this Veterans Day weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your weekend list!

It's Veterans Day weekend and families have lots of opportunities to celebrate those who have served in the military with parades and events in Atlanta. Attend the Veterans Day Tribute in Sandy Springs on Friday and the Veterans Day Parade at Atlanta History Center and the Georgia Veterans Festival at The Battery, both on Saturday.

Dinosuar fans will not want to miss Jurassic World: The Exhibition at Pullman Yards —this immersive experience brings visitors face-to-face with life-size dinosaurs! It's beginning of feel a lot like the holidays in Atlanta, and some of our favorite seasonal events launch this weekend, including Stone Mountain Christmas and Rudolph at the Center for Puppetry Arts. We're also excited about a new holiday tradition, the Atlanta Winter Lantern Festival, launching this weekend at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds and happening weekends through December 31.
