Philadelphia Arena Polo Championship

Work to Ride will host The Philadelphia Arena Polo Championship, a first-of-its-kind sporting event celebrating the grand opening of new indoor riding facility, the McCausland Arena. Guests will enjoy a tournament featuring two matches and two entry times, accompanied by specialty food truck offerings, exhibitors, and self-guided tours of the new arena.
The updated tournament format will feature two separately ticketed morning and afternoon polo matches, starring teams comprised of current and alumni Work to Ride program players, and highlighting the talented young adults who have excelled through the unique, urban equestrian program. Co-led by local polo champion and Work to Ride alumnus Kareem Rosser, the inaugural event will celebrate a transformational milestone for the Work to Ride program as it welcomes the Philadelphia community and supporters for a first-hand look at the facility that will provide a year-round sanctuary for Philadelphia’s urban youth.
In addition to high-energy polo matches, guests can expect specialty food truck offerings, including Two Street Sammys, Monz Crabby Dips, and Boomer B Kitchen, among others. Pop-up vendors will provide interactive experiences and shopping opportunities throughout the day, with partners including Beyond Bubbles handcrafted artisan body care, Botori riding apparel, and more. All proceeds from the Philadelphia Arena Polo Championship will support Work to Ride’s nationally recognized mission of providing free equestrian programming, mentorship, and academic support to program members.
Gates will open at 11:00 AM for the Morning Match, which begins at 11:30 AM. Gates will temporarily close at 2:00 PM and reopen at 3:00 PM for the Afternoon Match, which starts at 3:30 PM. The event will conclude with gates closing at 5:00 PM.
General admission tickets are available at $20.00 per person and can be purchased at https://worktoride.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/worktoride/event.jsp?event=1&. A limited number of tickets are now available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is highly encouraged.
