We are super excited to announce our first organized event here at Mommy Poppins CT. We've partnered with the Westfield CT Post mall to create a Summer Fun Expo for CT families. We are thrilled to be offering a one stop option for learning about places to have fun in CT this summer. The expo is Sunday, June 3rd from 11-4 pm in the food court area of the mall. If you drive past Target and Dick's Sporting Goods to the back parking lot, head up the ramp to the 2nd level for the closest parking to our event. There will be lots of fun for the kids including organized arts and crafts as well as entertainment by Lynn Lewis and Friends from 11:!5 to noon.

Waiting and preparing for Christmas can be almost as magical and fun as the holiday itself. The Advent period or the season of preparation which was originally observed in many Western Christian churches emphasizes this tradition - even without the religious content. One of the sweetest - sometimes in the literal sense of the word, too - prop of the season is the Advent calendar. Counting down the days with suspense for the big holiday rewards you with a little surprise for each day of patience in the long, cold month of December.
