Coco Keys: Indoor Water Park in Waterbury, CT
This is the perfect water park to visit regardless of weather: It’s always a warm and sunny 84 degrees at Coco Key!
Some of the highlights of Coco Key include a 50,000 Square Feet of Indoor Adventure, an Adventure River, three 40-Foot Body and Raft Rides, an Activity Pool with Water Basketball and Lily Pad Adventure, and the Parrot's Perch Interactive Play Island with Zero-Depth Entry Kiddie Area. When you’re ready to dry off the kids love to spend time in the Key Quest Arcade. There are choices for fun kid food on the premises: A&W and Pizza Hut Express, Gator’s Grab & Go and the Wet Rooster Bar. Try to beat the crowds and eat before or after the typical lunch rush. There is no outside food allowed in, except for baby food, which needs to be in plastic containers.
A full day pass on the weekend and holidays is $29 per person for children and adults and during the week it’s reduced to $19. There is also a twilight pass for $10 for adult and children. All swimmers under the age of 2 gain free admittance into the park. Some of the rides have height requirements even when accompanied by an adult. The tower slides in CoCo Key Water Resort have a height minimum of 42" to ride the body slide and 48" to ride the tube slides. Parrot's Perch slides have a minimum height requirement of 40 inches.
If you plan on staying overnight, be sure to book as far in advance as possible. We’ve tried to make reservations twice to no avail. Purchasing your tickets online is the only way to guarantee access into the Water Resort if you are not on a Water Resort package. Be sure to bring your own towels from home. CoCo Key does not provide towels to day pass guests.
Be aware that as the only indoor waterpark around, it gets pretty crowded. The hotel has received some very mixed reviews in terms of cleanliness and service.
