From Earth Day to a solar eclipse, ring in spring this April with tons of things to do in Connecticut for kids. Don’t miss our favorite activities taking place in Connecticut this month.

Besides April school vacation, this April is extra-special because of the total eclipse. Put on your special glasses and  participate in one of the events going on all over the state from the Solar Eclipe Party at White Memorial to the Eclipse Viewing Party at the CT Science Center. When you're done looking up, look all around you to celebrate Earth Day. Many towns will be holding festivals, fairs and parties to help us think more about treating the planet we live on with more care. Earth Week at the Dinosaur Place will be fun, as will the The Earth Day Celebration at Harbor Park.

Also, coming to Connecticut this month are Sesame Street Live Say Hello and Hotwheels Monster Trucks Live.

We’re adding more events to our family activity calendar every day, so don’t forget to check it frequently.
