Hula Hoop Parties for Kids

Make your child’s party unique and unforgettable by making it a hula hoop party. Children will have fun while learning something new. Turning Circles offers two options—games tricks and a performance, and make your own hula hoops—which can be combined for optimal fun.

In option A (games and tricks), the hula hoop will be used as a prop to play fun games all ages can enjoy. Some traditional games are adapted to the hula hoop, while other games are more specific to the hula hoop. Basic tricks are also taught, including hooping on your hand, doing the ‘weave’ (figure 8), and picking up the hoop from waist to hand. The difficulty and range of tricks taught are age dependent. Halfway through the games and tricks, Turning Circles providers will do a high tech LED hula hoop performance to impress and inspire, followed by a short drink break.

Option B (make your own hoops) is a fun way to make your hula hoop birthday party crafty. Turning Circles will provide the plastic structures made from durable polyethelyne tubing, and bring a range of professional hula hoop tapes for the children to choose from. Children can use both sparkle deco tape to make their hoops pretty, and gaffer tape to make them durable and a little grippy. Children will also get to decorate their hoops with stickers, ribbons, and other fun and fancy materials. Children get to take the hoops home at the end of the party, so they make the perfect party favor.

Hula hoop parties for adults are also offerered. What better way to celebrate your girl then with a decked out, lights down, music up, dance party. Guests will start the party out right by getting fabulous, as costumes, glitter, and accessories are provided (feel free to bring your own as well to add to the festivities). Then the hoops will come out and start the party. Guests will learn a short, simple, fun-for-everyone choreography which is sure to keep everyone smiling. Add a crafty element to your party with a make-your-own hula hoop workshop. Hula hoops are made with highgrade polyetheleyne tubing and professional hoop tape. Everyone who makes a hoop gets to take it home at the end, so you can keep practicing what you’ve learned.
